Provincetown to Host the IWFFA Ptown Classic Flag Football Tournament September 19 to 22 2025

United States, 30th Aug 2025 – The International Women’s Flag Football Association (IWFFA) proudly announces the return of its iconic Ptown Classic Tournament, taking place September 19–22, 2025 in Provincetown, Massachusetts. This highly anticipated four-day event combines fierce competition, community spirit, and cultural exchange, attracting players and fans from across the United States and around the world.

This year’s tournament features:

Friday, September 19 – Kickoff Events & Parade

• Over the Hill Kickball (11 AM – 12 PM) – An inclusive and fun start for senior and younger women at Jerome Field.
• Women Speaker Series (2:30 PM – 4 PM) – Inspiring stories from athletes representing Afghanistan, South Sudan, Honduras, Guatemala, and the USA at Ptown Theater.
• 2nd Annual Michelle Rizzuto Parade (6 PM) – Teams, locals, and visitors join in a colorful march down Commercial Street.
• Official Tournament Registration (7:30 PM – 10 PM) – Hosted at Harbor Lounge, featuring an auction, 50/50 raffle, and team meet-and-greet.

Saturday, September 20 – Games Begin & Saturday Night Party

• Opening Day of Games – All matches at Jerome Smith Field on Route 6. Fans enjoy free admission, halftime contests sponsored by Toys of Eros, and plenty of fun.
• Saturday Night Party (7 PM) – A high-energy celebration at The Underground, complete with live DJ, games, and the famous Arm Wrestling Championship.

Sunday, September 21 – Playoffs, Championship, and Awards

• Championship Sunday – Intense playoff action concludes with the Championship Game at Jerome Smith Field.
• Awards Ceremony (Immediately After Championship) – At Harbor Hotel, honoring MVPs, All-Star players, and the top three teams. Champions receive embroidered IWFFA hats and plaques.

Monday, September 22 – Explore Provincetown

All-Day Adventure – All morning tour through the dunes, whale watching afternoon, and the closing Tournament Dinner at 5 PM.
